This allows the shooting axis to be tilted and shifted in relation to the film axis, thus avoiding perspective distortions. In portrait photography, the most important thing is to use the widest possible aperture in order to focus on the face and let the background disappear into the bokeh. A Canon lens with a focal length between 50 mm and 100 mm is ideal here. A fixed focal length has its advantages in all areas of photography. Many professionals work exclusively with it and achieve better results with its consistently high light intensity.
